Dr. Kerry Reller is a board-certified Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine physician and the owner of CFMA, serving patients throughout the Tampa Bay region. Before entering medicine, she trained as an engineer—earning a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Science in Electrical & Computer Engineering (Bioengineering focus) from the Georgia Institute of Technology. She began her career in systems engineering, but soon realized her passion was helping people directly through healthcare.
After completing her post-baccalaureate studies at The Johns Hopkins University, Dr. Reller attended medical school at the University of Maryland, where she also completed her residency in Family & Community Medicine. In 2016, she returned home to Florida to join her father’s long-standing practice and learn the clinical foundations of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. She launched her own family medicine practice in 2017, which has since grown into the modern, prevention-focused CFMA. In 2021, she earned board certification in Obesity Medicine to better support patients pursuing metabolic health and sustainable weight loss.
Her clinical interests include metabolic health, obesity medicine, allergy and asthma care, women’s health—including perimenopause and menopause management—and preventive, root-cause oriented primary care. She emphasizes education, sustainable lifestyle change, and helping patients understand the “why” behind their health.
Dr. Reller is also the host of the Get Healthy Tampa Bay Podcast, where she interviews experts across medicine, wellness, and performance to bring practical insights to the community.
Dr. Reller and her husband live in Safety Harbor with their three children. As a family, they enjoy weight training, HIIT workouts, soccer, running, and staying active in the community—including coaching local youth sports and supporting Tampa Bay wellness initiatives. She also serves as a certified FASTer Way to Fat Loss® coach, helping clients build strength, metabolic flexibility, and healthy habits through structured nutrition and fitness coaching.
